    Question

    There will be an AG fashion show event held at Boerner Botanical Gardens on March 25 & 26 in Greendale, Wisconsin. The information is not on their website yet, but I heard this from a friend who volunteers there.

    Has anyone gone to one of these fashion show events? Was it enjoyable?

    DD and I went to one a few months ago with friends. It was fun, the money goes to a great cause, and we happened to know several of the models. Basically, the girls come out dressed in historical meet dresses, holiday dresses, PJs, modern outfits, and Bitty clothes. After the show, you can have your pictures taken with the models. We're planning on going again this fall, and adding some additional friends to fill an entire table.

    <font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I have never been to one, but have a friend that attended one here in Columbus at the Bexley Girls School.. she said it was well worth the money and would go again. If you go, please let us know what it is like.. I would love to hear about it!

    My 6 year old auditioned for one of these in November and got picked to model in at the show coming up in March. She is so excited. You get to buy raffle tickets for some great American Girl Dolls and the tickets said there would be a little boutique of American Girl Items to buy!

    I will let you know how it went and share some photos!

    I absolutely enjoyed going to them when I was younger. It's such a great experience...the girls come with their dolls and you get to see the historical dresses as well as the newer fashions (as I understand they still have the retired historical outfits for Felicity, Kirsten, Addy, Samantha, Molly, etc)

    Jenny =)
